ACI Webinar - Aviation industry global approach for airport slot rules in Summer 2021

The Worldwide Airport Slot Board (WASB) is the forum for bringing together representatives from the airport, airline and slot coordinator community to agree airport slot policy and positions on behalf of the global aviation industry. The WASB has released their recommended approach to regulators for gradually reinstating normal airport slot use rules taking into account the continued crisis in aviation.

This webinar provided an opportunity to understand why the WASB came together to make a recommendation, what the proposal means for slot coordination and slot use in Summer 2021 and what the regulators are now asked to consider to support the industry in their recovery.  The discussion was between representatives from the global airport, airline and slot coordination communities.
