In pursuit of promoting safer airport operations and cooperation between the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), aviation stakeholders and airports worldwide, ACI has developed the Airport Excellence (APEX) Programmes.

ACI currently offers virtual APEX, a solution for every airport to improve safety and security management. It provides a targeted online peer review of an area of improvement airports wish to seek additional guidance and recommendations.
