What is Smart Security?

Smart security is the leader in driving security innovation for passenger and baggage screening.

Smart Security is an ACI led programme under the NEXTT (New Experience and Travel Technologies) umbrella to deliver a step change in passenger and baggage screening in the future, whilst supporting airports to implement technologies that exist today. Smart security’s goal is to strengthen security, while providing a seamless passenger journey, increased efficiency and reduced operational costs.
