Autonomous Vehicles and Systems at Airports Report, Assessing Potential Security Threats and Risks (2019)
Following the release of the Autonomous Vehicles and Systems at Airports Report, ACI takes a deeper dive into the emerging security vulnerabilities and potential security risks associated with the adoption of autonomous vehicles and systems.
Developed in collaboration with ARUP and based on international risk assessment processes, the report shares how members of the aviation community have integrated autonomous vehicles and systems in current operations and the associated benefits. It considers how airports, designers and other members of the aviation community can understand how risks differ from traditional vehicles when introducing these technologies.
The purpose of the report is to initiate an industry-wide discussion and provide airports with a starting point to conduct their own local security threats and risk assessments.
