Policy Paper: Sustainable Airport Ground Access
As the sector continues to change, future ground access to airports will need to evolve into a more user-friendly and sustainable experience. The three pillars of sustainability (environmental, social, and economic) must be considered to achieve sustainable ground access.
This concise policy paper provides a high-level overview of the benefits and goals of sustainable ground access, solutions that airports can consider, and a sustainability collaboration framework.
The publication was produced by the ACI World Sub-Committee on Airports’ Non-Aeronautical Revenues and Activities (ANARA) and is part of a new series dedicated to helping airports strengthen commercial revenue to improve the traveller experience and contribute to the recovery of the sector.
